Jaiden Jefferson

Favorite major course: DS 210: Fashion Illustration, because I got to better my drawing skills on paper and digitially. I got to understand how to color garments and see how light reflects certain parts using different coloring mediums. Lastly this is the class where I learned how to use Adobe Illustrator and make flats that are extrmeley helpeful for applying to internships and including in my portfolio.

Favorite place in SoHE: The Kohl’s Center for Retailing is a hub of not only extra opportunities, but they are there to specifically help me gain insights and opportunities within the retail industry, whether that’s a resume review, interview prep, or just giving advice.

Involvement on campus: President of Madison Fashion Business Club, Fashion designer for the Vault, Student Representative of the Undergraduate Program Committee.

Fun fact: Romance books are my favorite to read and Dystopian is my favorite to watch.
