Josey Curtes

Favorite major course: My favorite major course I’ve taken is DS 221: Person and Environment Interactions, dating back to my freshman year. I fell in love with the topics taught in this course, and the professor, Uchita, left a real impact on me. To this day, I apply what I learned to various projects I work on and continue to learn from Uchita as I progress in my academic career.

Favorite place in SoHE: My favorite place is the rooftop terrace and green spaces on the third floor of SoHE. This terrace is where I’ve met friends who I can’t imagine going through college without and where I’ve continued to strengthen so many friendships over the years. On a warm sunny day, I love to sit out there with a dirty chai from Robin’s Nest and get work done, enjoying the beautiful weather while still being productive.

Involvement on campus: Interior Design Organization (IDO).

Fun fact: I studied abroad in Florence, Italy the spring semester of my junior year- and you should too!
